uneven projects: Island of Time

Although this developing series is in some respects a continuation of the parklands project - I am a very different person. 10 years have passed since moving here, a time in which I have become fully embedded within park-time, and no longer feel connected to an imagined past of people and places.

The estate, an island of time both in terms of what it represents and the feeling of remoteness created when I am out walking is quietly unsettling. It is something hard to anchor, it drags at thoughts and resists documentation (started late 2025).
