India 2026/P1 (New Delhi)
Travel notes: From the hot trade-less traders in nearly 40° heat at the Red Fort to the community kitchen of the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, New Delhi is both moving and challenging in equal measures. Being in such a place and experiencing its culture, people and rhythms, and then attempting to fix these experiences as photographic images is a complex task.
Perhaps travel is more an inward experience and something impossible to capture as a still image? However, they still contain some form of cultural reference and a resonance for me - and perhaps that’s all I can hope for? But as time extends beyond this cultural exchange, an images value and impact can also be explored in new ways.
