Making a space work for work: (2016-2021)
My work has always cycled through many processes, necessitating a need to abandon directions when familiarity and control become containment issues. There is a lot of language needed to shore up a practice that simply illustrates itself, perhaps through an addiction to "extreme authorship".
Memories of making: heating \ pouring \ cutting \ grinding \ welding \ tapping \ sanding \ sawing \ hitting \ soldering \ melting \ forming \ repeat
It has however been an opportunity to evaluate intensities of making by exploring the distance between object, objectness and intention.
