plant prints: 1994 (Kodak)

A selection of images made whilst working nights at Kodak Processing in Wimbledon.  I worked on a Noritsu mini-lab reprinting photographs that customers had complained about, using just colour balance, brightness levels and zooming - there was also the copious use of Vaseline for scratches on negatives!   And between hundreds of images of babies, travel, parties and pets, I managed to make work using plant material (as the negative) to explore how the machine responded.  I had to make sure that the print run ended when the floor manger was at the far end of the factory floor, thankfully no CCTV in those days :)
